“Hope is born every day.”

  • Investment

Therapy is an investment in yourself and a commitment to your process of change. It calls for openness, consistency, persistence and patience. Our work together is a co-creation that evolves over time into an individualized, longer-term process, rather than short-term or solutions-centered work. It’s not possible to determine a fixed timeframe for the therapeutic process. Effectiveness can be explored and assessed periodically.

  • Sessions

Consistency is an important aspect of therapy. Sessions are held at least once per week on the same day and time and are 55 minutes in length. Multiple sessions per week can also be discussed. Please note, I do not do hold sessions every other week. If sessions are virtual, please make sure that your location affords the privacy necessary for this work. Payment is rendered monthly and may take the form of Zelle (preferred), PayPal, credit card, cash or check. I reserve several hours each week for those who wish to use insurance. The availability of those hours varies, so please inquire. If you wish to use out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide you with a monthly invoice you can submit for re-imbursement, which may substantially reduce the cost of therapy.

  • Cancellations

To maintain consistency and respect for each other’s time, 24-hours’ notice is needed if a session must be cancelled. I recognize that emergencies do happen and am happy to reschedule from time to time as availability permits. However, if a session cannot be rescheduled for that same week, I will need to charge the full session fee. Full session fee will also be charged in the event of a no-show for a session.

  • Communiction

Professional hours are Monday through Friday from 9a – 6p. Unless there is an emergency, communication is by email and for scheduling purposes. I endeavor to respond promptly, but please know that I do not maintain 24-hour attention to email.
